Equipping Children for Access and Opportunity!

Children's Assistive Technology Service (C.A.T.S.) helps Virginia families by giving new life to pediatric rehabilitation equipment and assistive technology devices. We serve as a free resource for children with disabilities who need adaptive equipment, especially focusing on families with limited resources.

Through assistive technology, children with disabilities can:

• Play and interact with their friends and siblings
• Participate fully in daily activities like meals, bath time, and education
• Explore their world with confidence
• Develop greater independence

In 2024, thanks to the incredible support of donors, funders, and businesses C.A.T.S. provided 1,450 pieces of adaptive mobility and communication equipment to 1,295 families. This life-changing equipment had an estimated value of $2.2 million.

None of this would be possible without you, the incredible donors. All funds from the SML Gives Day will go directly to the C.A.T.S. Endowment Fund, helping ensure children will have access to equipment for years to come.
