Friends of the Moneta-Smith Mountain Lake Library Inc

The Friends of the Moneta/SML Library, Inc. was established in 1998 to support the Moneta/SML Library.  0ur goal is to ensure that this library is enjoyed by the residents of Moneta, the Smith Mountain Lake communities, and the surrounding areas.  Our major contribution is providing financial support for the Summer Reading Program for children, teens, and adults.  Our upcoming need is to raise $2,500 to support the children's portion of the 2025 Summer Reading Program. This pays for reading prizes and weekly special events throughout the summer, such as professional puppet and magic shows, reptile and bee shows, a rocket launch, and more.  You may support us by giving a monetary donation and/or becoming a Friend of the Library.  We appreciate any donation towards keeping our library vital to the ever-changing needs of our patrons!
